Sewing instructions for Jundokan International Patches

Patches come on a sheet of fabric, after patches are cut from these sheets the edges will fray. You will need to fold over the frayed edges of the patch to sew on to uniform.

Patches should be approx. 1 inch from seam as shown in the photo.  The top of the patch should be sown straight across the uniform, above the chest muscle.

Children uniforms the patch may cover entire side of uniform, please do your best.  You may adjust patch due to this reason.

As shown in picture to left, the top corner of the patch should be approx. 4 inches down and 1 inch over from seams. The other top corner should approx. 3 ½ inches down from seam. This will ensure patch goes straight across and not angle down the uniform.  Pin top corners of the patch, try on uniform, make adjustments if necessary to ensure patch is ready for sewing.

The finished patch will be straight across and the entire patch with the copyright will be visible.  Ensure the edges are folded over and sewn to prevent fraying around the outside edge of patch.  An option you may wish to explore, bring the uniform and patch with instructions to “Stitch it” at Devonshire Mall they will sew on for $8.00 or find a local person that can help you.
